When the early church met together a great emphasis was placed on meeting in small groups. The Book of Acts tells us that believer's met together in their homes, sharing what they had so that no one would go without.
We are a church that believes strongly in personal relationships. To help develop these relationships, we meet twice a month in small gatherings called Life Groups. It is in this setting that we learn more about the people with whom we attend church. Children become closer to each other, single people become part of a family, and we all get to know each other better than we could by just looking at the back of someone's head on a Sunday morning.
Life Groups are intended to be a place where we open our lives to discipleship, fellowship, servanthood, and to a release of the gifts that God has placed inside each one of us.
Just like the activities of our daily lives vary, so does the activity of Life Group. A meeting could involve studying a passage of scripture, having a picnic, or helping someone move to a new home. The format can change from meeting to meeting, depending on the needs of the individual group.
If you are interested in getting to know us better and becoming part of a discipleship process, this is the place for you! Call the office and we would be glad to direct you to a group.
