The Week of October 11th

Food Depot: The food needs for October are applesauce, peanut butter, and jelly. Please place your non-perishable food items in the basket in the church foyer. All of your help and support are greatly appreciated.

Prayer This Week: We will be meeting for Prayer this Wednesday, October 14, at 7:00 p.m. Childcare is provided for those in kindergarten and younger.

Upcoming Outreach: Today, Sunday, October 11, at Highland Crest Residential Care Center at 2:00 p.m. If you would like to participate or just come along, please contact Dave or Gita at 665-4134.

Monday Night Classes: Discipleship and STEPS classes will meet this Monday, October 12, here at the church building.

Missions Trip: Our missions trip to the Philippines is coming up Thursday, November 12 thru Saturday, November 21. Several people in our church family are going on this trip, and we are looking forward to this time with our friends Bobby and Noemi. Please be in prayer for them, for the people making the trip, and concerning how God might ask you to give toward this missions trip. God has truly joined our hearts to our Philippine family.

Wednesday Night: This Wednesday, October 7, Life Groups will meet at 7:00 p.m. These groups meet in various homes throughout the cities of Kirksville and Edina. If you are not a part of a Life Group and would like more information, please call the office at 665-2323.

Torch 12:6 The youth prayer group for 6th through 12th grades will meet Friday, October 9, at 7:00 p.m. at the Burbees’ house. If you need directions or more information, please contact Jerry at 627-5151.

Wednesday Night: There will not be Prayer Meeting or Life Group this Wednesday night, September 30. Instead, we will be having a Life Group leaders meeting at the Burbees’ house at 7:00 p.m.

Books for Sale: Doug Kreighbaum has written two books. One is titled Relational Theology and the other The Lost Treasure. The books are available for purchase. Please see David Bost.
